The surgical procedure

Under local anaesthesia (or conscious sedation for anxious patients), a small incision is made in the gum and a precisely sized channel is created in the bone using a sequence of calibrated drills. The titanium implant — a small, screw-shaped post — is then placed into this channel at the exact position determined during the 3D planning phase. The procedure is far more comfortable than most patients expect, often described as less invasive than a tooth extraction.

Guided implant surgery

For complex cases or when multiple implants are needed, we use guided surgery — a custom 3D-printed surgical guide that fits precisely over your teeth or gums and directs the drill to the exact planned position.
